There is little known knowledge of these creatures that are always there but can never be seen. The existence of the creatures was originally discovered by Dr Harley Keller and Dr James Lane who developed Substance C to interact and explore other dimensions.
In their documentation and research files that we were able to uncover, Keller and James reveal the creatures to be of evil intent. They were said to be 'dark clouded entities that moved like smoke and would stalk humans like prey'. Keller referred to the creatures as 'moarte', a grim reaper that only wanted to hurt and destroy. Keller and Lane travelled to the alternate plane a number of times whilst developing their experiments on inter-dimension travel, which was originally based on creating connections and finding other worlds before they came across the creatures.
As Keller and James returned to a normal state of reality, they were now being plagued by these creatures. Keller and James spoke of these creatures always being close-by, but never truly seen. Always in the corner of your eye, but if you tried to find them they'd be gone.
If you were to ever come across these creatures, you would be targeted in many ways. They create vibrations in the sound waves by clicking calls to assert their presence. James detailed the calls as the 'moarte' interacting with each other to hone in on their prey and advance in numbers to attack unsuspecting victims.
Before their deaths, Keller and James tried to warn humanity of the existence of these creatures before it was too late, but as of yet, nothing has been done to combat these acts of war against humanity. Even know the creatures are advancing and finding ways to enter our plane of existence to dominate us.
